It was founded by Tanzanian a father and son — both seasoned African guides with over 30 years of collective experience leading travelers into the heart of the continent. Their bond was forged not only through family but through a shared reverence for wild landscapes, untold stories, and the spirit of exploration.
Joining them on this journey is their Colombian-American partner, whose background in environmental sustainability adds a global conscience to a deeply local dream. Together, they built Alkebulan as a platform to reimagine travel in Africa — immersive, exhilarating, and profoundly authentic.
